The two schools that became Pine Bend:
- Lake Park School (#10): located just across present-day Inver Grove Trail northeast of the current Pine Bend Elementary, the one-room schoolhouse has been renovated and converted to a single-family home. Little other than the foundation remains original to the building, build sometime around 1880.
- Pine Bend School (#21): located in the southeast corner of the present-day Pine Bend Cemetery, this brick building was made obsolete by the construction of the present-day Pine Bend in 1958 and demolished around 1969.
